Nicole Kidman in a house with two kids and a staff of three. This film looks like it could have been a low budget wonder, since it was all about the story. The family hears noises and things move on their own. The daughter speaks of seeing and speaking to a boy named Victor, who says the house belongs to his family. Freaky weird things happen throughout the film and then we get the twist.
I suspected it during the film, but the way it was executed was ingenious. All the strangeness of the film melted away into perfect order. While the film ran, it was a spooky haunted house film giving one spooky vibes about any house. Once it ended and all the pieces were in place, everything changed and the spookiness melted away.
Definitely a worth watching film.
